DESCRIPTION:ENTER EVENTSTART LISTRACE PACKCONTACT USDescriptionThe annual Star and Garter Boxing Day 5k Road Race takes place on Tuesday, 26th December 2023 and is a great way to run off those excess calories.\nThe race starts at 11.00am from outside the Star and Garter pub at 61 Higher Hillgate, Stockport. SK1 3HD, and is a three lap course round the fully marshalled local streets.\n\n\nAs usual, all proceeds from the race will be donated to The Maggie Centre, which offers practical, emotional and social support to cancer patients at the Christie Hospital.\n\nEntry fee is £9.00 affiliated, £11.00 unaffiliated and any entries available on the day will be £13.00.\n\nThere will be a raffle taking place in the pub after the race and a buffet, supplied by the pub, will be available to all runners.\n\nPrizes for the first Junior, first three male and female and all age categories.\n\nThe limit for the race is 150, so please book early.\n\nCourseA three lap course round the fully marshalled local streets\nParking and facilitiesThere is some on street parking around the venue and several car parks close by.
