More details on this below.\nSo……where are we sending you this time?\nThe Three Halls for 2025 are:\nVernon Park Museum, Turncroft Lane, Offerton, Stockport, Sk1 4AR\nGrid Ref: 53.41203, -2.14131; What3Words: ///hips.glass.slip\nGoyt Hall, Dark Lane, Romiley Stockport SK6 3LH\nGrid Ref: 53.40820, -2.11712 ; What3Words: ///editor.issues.outfit\nBramall Hall, Bramhall Park, Stockport, SK7 3NX\nGrid Ref: 53.37406, -2.16681; What3Words: ///crowd.larger.transfers\nHow does 3 Halls work?\nStart at Stockport Georgians, we set the walkers off first, then the runners an hour later. You navigate to each of the 3 halls in no particular order before returning to Stockport Georgians.\nThe event is open to runners and walkers.\nJuniors (under 18) are welcome but must participate as part of a walking group – no running!\nYou do not have to complete all the halls, if 1 or 2 is enough for you, just make your way back to the finish when you’re ready, there will be refreshments waiting for you.\nThe 5 Halls – Do you fancy going a little bit further?\nTo add some spice to the mix, we have added 2 optional extra halls again this year to create our 5 Hall Challenge, which is open to runners only.\nThe 2 Extra Halls for 2025 are:\nChadkirk Chapel, Vale Road, Romiley, Stockport SK6 3LB\nGrid Ref: 53.40890, -2.09139; What3Words: //varieties.bike.rush\nBruntwood Hall, Bruntwood Park, Cheadle, Stockport SK8 1HX\nGrid Ref: 53.38039, -2.21233; What3Words: ///snacks.cove.certified\nThe exact locations of the checkpoints will be sent out the week before the event and will be located near to the halls\nThey can be done in any order but you must do all 3 of the main halls PLUS 1 or both of the optional halls. There will not be a checkpoint at Chadkirk or Bruntwood, we’ll need to see your route (Strava, plot-a-route, Map my run etc) or a photo of you near the halls.\nAge limits:\nThe 3 Halls:  Individuals aged 18+ can run or walk the route.\nUnder 18’s can enter as a Junior Entry, but must walk the route as part of a group.\nWalkers will be set off between 08:00 – 09:00, runners will be set off from 09:00.\nThe 5 Halls: Open to runners only, must be aged 18+.\nYou will start with the walkers, and you must have visited all 5 halls and be on your way back to base by 15:00.\nTeams/Groups: If you are entering as a team or group of three or more adults, agree a team manager and ask them to email us at crazylegsevents@gmail.com for your team discount code before you enter yourself.\nWe will send you a discount code to give each individual £1.00 off their entry cost. This applies for teams of three or four people.\nVirtual Entry – Individual: £5\nWe managed to clash with another local event last year, so just in case it happens again we are opening up the event to virtual entries between 00:01 a.m. Saturday 13th January to 11:59 p.m. on 20th January. Enter as a Virtual Runner run the halls and submit your route to us by email before 08:00 a.m. on January 21st.\nThere are a few basic rules:\nUse only public rights of way, be courteous to other members of the public using the paths etc. check in and have your checkpoint card clipped at each checkpoint and let us know if you drop out.\nWhere possible, record your run/walk on an app e.g. Strava, Map my Run, etc. or take a photo of yourself at each of the checkpoints.\nThere is a prize for the fastest Male and Female finishers and a few spot prizes.\nAll Under 18s must walk, not run.\nOnly runners can enter The 5 Halls (due to the distance and length of time)\nThe event is run under UKA rules which should be followed by all participants\nCourseWe will provide a suggested route upon request but this won’t be the shortest route, Part of the challenge is for you to navigate your own route between each of the Halls in no particular order, using your own map to find the shortest route using only public rights of way. We estimate the distance will be approx. 9.5 miles amd you have the details of the Halls now, time to get plotting. .\nWe’ll update our map shortly before the event after our final recce.\nVenue facilities & car parkingParking is available at the venue although car sharing would be a good idea to prevent any congestion on the local roads.\nBag drop, toilets and refreshments are available at the finish\nPrize CategoriesThere are prizes for the fastest Male and Female – we usually post these out after the event.\nWhen the Race Pack button above is displayed as blue, you can access the race pack via that button.\nRace PackThis will be emailed out in the fortnight before the race.
