We’re delighted to announce a new Individual and Relay event for Summer 2023.

The aim of the event is to complete as many laps of a 5k circuit as you can within the six hour time limit.  You can participate as an individual or as part of a team (consisting of two, four or eight people).

There will be water, fruit and energy snacks at the changover point.

Race HQ is at Wilmslow Rugby Club and the start/finish/changeover point will be in the grounds.  The course takes in the Jim Evison Playing Fields, The Carrs, the Rugby Club fields and connecting paths/quiet roads.  It’s fairly flat overall with 46m of climb each lap.  There’s a map of the route here (there may be slight changes due to planned works on the Rugby Club fields).  The course will be signed and marshalled.

On site parking at Race HQ.

The bar will be open at the Rugby Club with a viewing area overlooking the course for teams and spectators to cheer their runners on and create a great summer atmosphere.  On-site catering will also be available (additional charges will apply).  There’s plenty of space for club tents and gazebos near the start/finish/changeover point.

There will be a medal awarded to anybody achieving the ultra distance (9 laps or more)

Team members will get pin badges if their teams complete the following challenge distances;

Bronze – 8 laps (40k)
Silver – 12 laps (60k)
Gold – 16 laps (80k)
