Stockport Moves 2023
Description
Stockport Moves is a family friendly celebration of movement being held in an around the town centre on Sunday 2nd July 2023 from 10am – 3pm.
The day will feature the Stockport Mile event as well as an interactive event village in St Peter’s Square, offering a wide range of fun activities for all ages and abilities – and what’s more, it’s all completely free! So if you’re looking for something to occupy the kids for a while and burn off some of their energy, Stockport Moves in the perfect place.
Course
The Stockport Mile is the flagship event of the day. It’s a free to enter mile run around the town centre that is mostly flat and is fully accessible to wheelchairs, adapted trikes and buggies. That makes it perfect for families to enjoy together or for those of you looking to try something new on your own or with friends – and everyone gets a medal at the end, even the babies in the buggy!

Parking is available in the town centre. There will be toilets and food available at the event village
