We are experienced in both manual and electronic timing and can provide information and advice that will ensure we meet all of your event needs.
We can advise on the best solution to fit your event, dependent upon the size and complexity of your requirements, be that a simple manual solution or a complex multi-sport electronic (chip) timed event.
We use the proven, ‘MACSHA OCELOT One4All’ electronic timing system for chip timing races. This can be used with either disposable vest or shoe chips or reusable ankle chips. Floor mats and side antennas read the ‘chips’ as the competitors pass the timing points to give a very reliable read rate.
For races of up to 200 – 300 competitors we would usually recommend a manual timing service. For this we use electronic stop watches and manually records each person as they cross the line.
For both solutions we always have two video cameras in place to record everyone crossing the line. This helps us with any queries we may get that need resolving, once we publish the results, as well as a backup if there is ever a system failure.
