A popular 10K race on road and trail in and around the beautiful village of Poynton.

Race HQ: Poynton Civic Centre, Park Lane, SK12 1RB, where registration, parking (not free) and toilets are situated.

Start/Finish: The race starts at 9:15 just a short distance from Race HQ on Park Lane, the main shopping street, which will be closed to traffic.

Registration: Opens at 08.00 and the last entry into the hall will be at 09:00. There are no entries on the day

Cut Off: We do not have a cut off time, but please email us and let us know if you expect to take longer than 1 hours 45 minutes to complete the course. Park Lane will be reopening to traffic after that time, so this will help us to ensure that we have people in place so that you can finish safely once the road is open again.

Optional Extras: We no longer provide medals for every runner as we are actively working towards reducing waste at our races. We do appreciate how important a medal is to some runners, but not so much to others, so we offer the option to pre-order a medal for the Trail Half at a cost of £3.50

Marshals: We are looking for marshals to help make the day go smoothly. If you can help, know someone who can or would like more details please e-mail us at crazylegsevents@gmail.com. All our volunteers are offered a free (transferable) entry for a future event or a charity donation on their behalf.

Race Pack We will email out our race pack to all entrants via email in 1-2 weeks before the event. When the Race Pack button above is displayed as blue, you can access the race pack via that button.

The route starts in the village centre and makes its way up out of Poynton to the Middlewood Way, returning to the Finish on Park Lane via the Poynton Inclines and Poynton Park.

There are several car parks in the vicinity of Race HQ, the race pack for details
There will be porta-loos available there before, during and after the race.

It will be possible to leave bags in the hall but they will not be supervised during the race.
