Stockport Harriers Boxing Day 5K Road Race
Description
The annual Boxing Day race takes place on Friday, 26th December at 11.00am and is a great way to run off those excess Christmas Day calories!
This year there is a change of venue and the race will take place at the Stockport Harriers’ stadium in Woodbank Park, Offerton.
As usual, all proceeds from the race will be donated to the Maggie Centre, which offers practical, emotional and social support to cancer patients at the Christie Hospital.
Entry fee is £10 affiliated, £12 unaffiliated and any entries in the day will cost £14. Our raffle will take place after the race with many great prizes and proceeds donated to the Maggie Centre.

Race limit is 200 so please book early. Last year we sold out very quickly.
Course
The race commences at 11am on the track and is a fully marshalled one-lap course taking in Woodbank Park, Vernon Park and surrounding areas.
Parking and facilities
Parking close by at Woodbank Park. Please consider car sharing and park considerately. Changing rooms available with lockers and showers.
Prize Categories
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st male and female Junior, 1st 3 male and females and all age-group categories. Many thanks to Run North West who have once again very generously donated all the prize vouchers.
