Stockport Harriers Santa Dash
Description
Stockport Harriers welcomes you to our inaugural Santa Dash, part of this year’s Town of Culture year- long festival. This event is a FREE 1 mile family fun run around the beautiful trails of Woodbank Park. It’s completely flat, so whether you’re in a wheelchair or pushing a buggy, this is suitable for you.
Each participant will receive a Santa Hat (please wear it during the run), a certificate and a Mince Pie. Please feel free to bring your own Santa suit or other festive attire. The Stadium will be a hub of Christmas cheer with seasonal music and a range of tasty treats including the famous hot dogs on sale at the Tuck Shop.
Stockport County’s Vernon Bear will join the fun and there will be raffle tickets available with the chance to win a £100 Sports Feet Voucher!
Course
The course starts on the track at Woodbank Stadium and does one lap of the 1km tarmac path in Woodbank Park before returning to the track for the finish.
Venue facilities & car parking
Parking is available in the car parks near Woodbank Park. There will be toilets and food available at the stadium.
Prize Categories
Each participant will receive a Santa Hat (please wear it during the run), a certificate and a Mince Pie.
