The Star & Garter Boxing Day 5K Road Race
Description
The annual Star and Garter Boxing Day 5k Road Race takes place on Tuesday, 26th December 2024 and is a great way to run off those excess calories.
The race starts at 11.00am from outside the Star and Garter pub at 61 Higher Hillgate, Stockport. SK1 3HD, and is a three lap course round the fully marshalled local streets.
As usual, all proceeds from the race will be donated to The Maggie Centre, which offers practical, emotional and social support to cancer patients at the Christie Hospital.
Entry fee is £10.00 affiliated, £12.00 unaffiliated and any entries available on the day will be £14.00.
There will be a raffle taking place in the pub after the race and a buffet, supplied by the pub, will be available to all runners.
Prizes for the first Junior, first three male and female and all age categories.
The limit for the race is 150, so please book early.
