The Relays are back!

We are hosting our Individual and Relay running event for Summer 2025 at Wilmslow Rugby Club.

We have a 5K loop through lovely parkland and your aim is to complete as many full laps of the circuit within either a six or three hour time limit.  You can participate as an individual or as part of a relay team of two, four or eight people.

There will be medals for all participants.

The bar will be open, food and drink available throughout the event and there’s plenty of  space for club tents and gazebos overlooking the start/finish/changeover point.

The event is run under UKA rules which should be followed by all participants.  Running with dogs is not permitted under UKA rules.

Anyone aged 12 or over can take part in the event but there are restrictions on the number of laps each age group can complete as below (ages as of the day of the event).  Individual entrants must be 18 or over.

• Age 12-15 – one lap
• Age 16 – two laps
• Age 17 – five laps
• Age 18-19 – nine laps
• Age 20+ – no limit

The course takes in the Jim Evison Playing Fields, The Carrs, the Rugby Club fields and connecting paths/quiet roads,  It’s fairly flat overall with 46m of climb each lap, and the course will be signed and marshalled.

Parking is available at the Rugby club and surrounding roads.

There are toilets in the clubhouse, a bar and food is available on the day.

There will be a medal awarded to anybody achieving the ultra distance (9 laps or more).
All individuals taking on the 3 hour or 6 hour challenge will get a medal regardless of the number of laps they complete.

Team members will get medals if their teams complete the following challenge distances:
Bronze – 8 laps (40k)
Silver – 12 laps (60k)
Gold – 16 laps (80k)

There will be different ribbons on the medals depending on which challenge has been completed.
